Meet Roshawn Nicole: A Voice for Healing and Empowerment
Roshawn Nicole is a dynamic keynote speaker who uses her story of triumph to educate and encourage her audience.
In 2012, she had a near-death experience that left her in the intensive care unit for 30 days. Struggling to cope with the pain of her trauma, she faced flashbacks, insomnia, depression, anxiety, and addiction. At the end of 2020, realizing she was trapped in a vicious cycle, Roshawn sought professional help and entered treatment for two months. During this time, she was inspired to write her award-winning songs, "Wounded Scars" and "Free." The lyrics of these songs helped her find inner strength and become an advocate for breaking the stigma of mental illness.
